Happy Holidays To One And All!!!

Tis the season when Sigma Theta Tau Eta Kappa Chapter at Large members come together for a big fundraising effort.  The festivity and joy of the season is upon us.  We are all out and about shopping frantically, enjoying the views of the season, as well as spending time with family and friends.  The last thing anyone needs to worry about is finding time to wrap their gifts.

Twice a year our members volunteer on two different dates to wrap gifts and check the blood pressures at Barnes and Noble Bookstore.   We are asking for any and all volunteers to step forward and email Lori Edwards if you are interested in this fun volunteering event!  Not only is it fun to wrap the gifts and helpful to offer blood pressure checks but it is also a great time to meet and mingle with fellow Eta Kappa members and share any ideas you may have for future events/fun!   The scheduled dates are:

Sunday, November 27th from 2pm – 10pm

Thursday, December 15th from 6pm – 10pm

We only need people to be willing to share in the gift wrapping/blood pressure experience for at least 1-2 hours.  Below are the time slots available and the number of people needed.  If you have a friend who is also a member, feel free to seek their service as well as more help is always welcome!

Sunday, November 27th needs/open times:

4pm-6pm: 1 person

6pm-8pm: 2 people

8pm-10pm: 3 people

Thursday, December 15th needs/open times:

7pm-8pm: 2 people

8pm-9pm: 3 people

9pm-10pm: 3 people

Please give this serious thought as it is truly a fun and social time to be had!  Tis the season to give and Eta Kappa is asking you to give a bit of your time!
